Aubrey Ellis

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Aubrey Ellis on September 4, 2024, at the age of 91. He is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved son, Tracy. Aubrey was a devoted and loving husband of 69 years to Myrna. He will be deeply missed by his children Dwane, wife Lynda, Paul and daughter Sara. Aubrey will be lovingly remembered by daughter-in-law Kelly. A cherished devoted Grampie to Chris, Benj, Cortney, Brent, Aubrey Jr., Derek, Heather, James. A loving great Grampie to Brandon, Aidan, Tanner, Sierra, Alyssa, Chloe and Kendall. Aubrey was a loving great great Grampie to Kashton.

Aubrey will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home 20846 Dalton Rd. Sutton West, Ontario, 905-722-3274) on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday September 14, 2024 from 12;00pm to 1:00pm. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home Chapel. Following the service, an interment will take place at Briar Hill Cemetery (5500 Black River Rd. Sutton, ON). Following interment there will be a reception held at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home. The family hopes all will attend to celebrate a great man’s life. Aubrey’s kindness, wisdom, and enduring love for his family will be remembered with deep affection. His legacy of warmth and generosity will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

The service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person.
