Audrey Mae Whitcombe

Audrey Mae Whitcombe passed away peacefully on August 13th, 2024. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Harold Whitcombe. Dear mother to her sons, Jim and Don (Ann), and is deeply missed by them. She was also the mother of the late Susan Mae, who passed away in 1977. Audrey's memory will be cherished by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her extended family, including many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Audrey was known for her vibrant spirit and her dedication to charitable and community activities. Her involvement in various committees and organizations left a lasting impact, and she was honored as Georgina Citizen of the Year. Her legacy of kindness, energy, and service will continue to inspire those who knew her. 

Memorial Service will be held at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton ON L0E 1RO on Friday August 16, 2024, at 2:00pm with Visitation & Reception from 3:00pm – 5:00 pm. Memorial condolences may be made at www.forrestandtaylor.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to SickKids or Knox United Church Sutton.

The family wishes to express our gratitude to all those who were able to attend the memorial for Audrey: Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt and friend. 

It was heartwarming to see so many people come to honour Audrey and celebrate a life well lived. 

We are truly touched and appreciate for all the support, cards, donations, kind words, and the funny and personal stories shared with us. 

Whether you were in attendance or not able, we thank you all for being part of Audrey’s life and for being part of her life story. 

We are the sum of our experiences in life and Audrey had many thanks to the people she met on her journey. 

We thank you for honouring her memory.
