Peacefully at Margaret Bahen Hospice, Newmarket, on Monday, September 19, 2022, at the age of 61 years, Barb passed away, one day before her birthday. Barb May (nee Scobie), beloved wife of Rick May of Georgina. Dear stepmother of Jennifer Heyink (nee May) and loving Nan of Samantha. Dear sister of Linda Soules (Doug) and Marlene Schroeder (Michael). Dear aunt of Shannon, Heather, Paul and Kristen and their families. Barb will be remembered by her boating and curling friends along with all she met through business and socializing. Barb and Rick resided for twenty years on Georgina Island where she formed lifelong friendships. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Barb's Life will be held in the Ramada Inn, 49 Lorne Street, Jackson's Point on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. with reflections at 6:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Margaret Bahen Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
