Peacefully at his home in Oro Station on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the age of 60 years. Barney Howes, beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Barber). Dear father of Jason Howes (Jennifer) of Sutton, Stephanie Howes of Guelph, Melissa Howes (Mike Dwyer) of Oromocto, New Brunswick and Ryan Toole (Shawna) of Alcona. Loving Papa of Austin, Jordynn, Bailey, Hailey, Colton, Boston, Ocean, Dalton and Elissa. Dear brother of Jim (Afreeda), Alex (Theresa), Russell (Margaret), George (Pat), Alice Strong (Les), and brother in law of Wendy Howes, Murray Edwards, Dianne Dodge (the late Edward), Karen Barber, the late Nancy Barber (Donald Draper), Lorne Barber, Ron Barber (Barb), Debbie Dodge (Perry), Sandra Barber (Jeff Ward) and Jill MacIntyre (Fred). Predeceased by his brother John and sister Rosemarie. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Wednesday, June 15th at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
