Peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre, Toronto, on Monday February 27, 2023 at the age of 94 years. George Swaddling, predeceased by his wives, Connie Swaddling (nee Selkirk) and Betty Skinner (nee Kennedy). Dear father of Ron of Marmora. Predeceased by his son George. Loving grandfather of Shannon, Robert (Catherine) and Stephen. Dear brother of Carole Williams (Gord) and brother in law of Joy Swaddling. Predeceased by his brother Bill. Remembered by Betty’s children Alfie MacLeod (Shirley), Valerie MacIntosh, Ian MacDougall and Cindy Collins (Alan), his nephews Michael, Randy, Steven and Jeff; his niece Cindy, extended family including Valerie and Susan and his many friends. The family greatly acknowledges the compassionate care George received from the doctors, nurses and staff at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and in the Salvation Army Georgina Community Church, 1816 Metro Road, Jackson's Point on Sunday from 3 – 4 p.m. Funeral Service in the church at 4:00 p.m. Interment Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton.
