Christopher MacDonald

Christopher MacDonald (55) was an amazing warrior. He fought the battle for three years and died of cancer on December 21, 2024. He leaves a huge hole in our hearts and the volunteer world.

He was greeted by his grandmother and brother Larry. He is survived by his wife Dena Rogers, his parents Karen and Rob Marshall, and his brother Phil (Amanda). Father of Jennifer and Paul, and Papa to his precious grandchildren Justin, Jordyn and Joslyn. Proud uncle to Alishea, Abrianna, Chloe, Brooke, James, Camryn and super proud great-uncle to Ashton.

Chris was a volunteer and met many lifelong friends during this time. He volunteered for Scouts Canada, MS Society Bike Tours, MS Supercities Walks, Paws in the Park, Toronto Mutual Fund Softball League, Toronto Santa Star boxes and after a move to Georgina, the Georgina Ice Junior Hockey Club.

As per his wishes, no funeral was held. A celebration of life will be held on April 27th from 1pm to 4pm at the Royal Legion in Sutton. Please bring a photo or a favourite memory with you.
