Daniel "Danny" Roy Thompson 1961-2009



Son of Hope Sibbald Thompson and the late Clifford Freeman Thompson, Danny passed away tranquilly (in his forty-eighth year) at Southlake Regional Health Centre after a short, yet complex illness.

A lifelong resident of the Village of Sutton, Danny spent the latter part of his life in the compassionate care of Community Living Georgina, an organization founded in part by his parents in 1966. He is survived by his mother, his house-mates, his chums, and a broadly dispersed family of Thompsons, Sibbalds, Hetts and Seales.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. James' Anglican Church, 31 River Street in the Village of Sutton, Ontario on Saturday, 28 February 2009 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to benefit Community Living Georgina.

In springtime a Private Interment will be conducted at the Historic Churchyard Cemetery of St. George's Anglican Church, Sibbald Point.
