We are gathering to celebrate the life of David Harold Allen, whom passed at the age of 75, on October 1st, 2024.
He was born on May 22nd, 1949 to Marjorie Dickinson and Jack Allen in Toronto Ontario.
Dave was a very charitable person who prided himself in always looking to help others. He touched many lives with his humour and charismatic energy. From being in the Dominion Corporation as a grocer to moving to Bermuda to extend a helping hand there as a grocer. He spent many years of his life caring for his beloved mother Marjorie in the comfort of her own home. Dave was loved by so many and gave back to this world in so many ways. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. He will be remembered by his wife Linda Brown and his two daughters Sherry Allen and Tara-Lyn Desousa – Marchese, his son in law Joe Desousa – Marchese and his brother Dwight Allen.
Dave Allen will be miss greatly by his grandchildren Giovanna Mizzi, Angel-Lyn Amell, Alivia Ricard, Trinity Marchese, and Destiny Marchese.
We would like to extend a very grateful thank you to the nurses of St. Elizabeth who helped care for Dave for the past 4 years.
Visitation will be Saturday October 5th from 4pm – 8pm at Forrest and Taylor Funeral home, 20846 Dalton Road .
Funeral services will be Sunday October 6th at 1pm and visitation will be at 12pm at Forrest and Taylor Funeral Home followed by a celebration of life at the end of the services to be held at Dave’s home at 33 Bamburg Street, Sutton West.
