Debbie Lynn Snow, cherished daughter, beloved mother, supportive sister, and devoted partner, left us too soon on February 10, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on June 18, 1960, in North York, Ontario, Debbie carved out a life full of love and determination that radiated warmth to all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
Predeceased by her loving parents, Bob and Isobel, Debbie was a force of nature, fiercely devoted to her family. She leaves behind her loving partner, Mike, who was her steadfast companion, her sister Lori (Bryan), her children: Rob (Holly), Jason, Tanya (Boyd), and Grace (Murray) and her niece Teila (Larry). Debbie took immense joy in her role as a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to two precious great-grandchildren. Her family also includes two great-nephews and an extensive circle of extended family and friends who will miss her fiercely.
Debbie had a green thumb that would put any gardener to shame; her passion for her gardens, especially her cherished rose bushes, was just one reflection of her tenacious spirit. She relished the time spent nurturing her plants, a testament to her love for beauty and life in all its forms. Yet, anyone who knew her understood she was not one to be made a fuss over. True to her strong-willed nature, she didn’t want her loved ones to gather to mourn her, nor did she desire a traditional funeral ceremony.
In honoring her wishes, her family has decided to pause and give themselves some time to grieve and heal before they come together to celebrate her remarkable life. As this year brings her milestone birthday, what would have been her 65th on June 18th, the family encourages all who knew Debbie to gather in celebration of her life and the love she imparted upon us. Details regarding this joyous occasion will be shared soon.
Debbie always held fast to the belief that there would be “No Time to Say Goodbye.” While her departure may feel sudden and unexpected, her spirit will live on in our hearts and the memories we share. She taught us the importance of grit, love, and the legacy of family, and she will undoubtedly be waiting for us with open arms when the time comes to reunite.
