Macdonald, Dorothy Margaret (nee Osborne)

In her 91st year Dorothy completed her earthly journey on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at River Glen Haven Nursing Home, Sutton. Dorothy, beloved wife of the late Tommy (April 1971). She grew up in the Beach area of Toronto, (Queen and Woodbine), and moved to East York with Tommy, then in later years spent time between Oshawa with her son Brian and daughter Sandy and Pefferlaw with daughter Pam. Left to mourn her passing are her children; Pam, Brian and Sandy and her grandson Bradley (Melissa), the families of her late brother Robert Osborne (1995) and her late sister Audrey Osborne (2011). Dorothy was an avid lawn bowler, bridge player and genealogist and in later years kept her mind active and her wit sharp with crossword puzzles and cryptograms. Funeral service in the chapel of Pine Hills Cemetery 625 Birchmount Road at St. Clair, Scarborough, Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:00 p.m. Interment Pine Hills Cemetery. Donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to Cancer Research, the Parkinson Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
