Peacefully while surrounded by family at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the age of 70 years. Ed Moore, beloved husband of Gail (nee Griffith) of Pefferlaw. Dear father of Scott of Port Perry and Bryan of Bradford and father in law of Becky and Chantal. Predeceased by his daughter Jo Ann. Loving Poppa of Lukas, Nolan, Mackenzie, Cambryan and Atticus. Dear brother of Barry Moore of Oakville and brother in law of Jane & Dave Clyde, Jim & Cynthia Griffith, Nancy & Albert Henderson, Elaine & David Kortko, Paul & Jean Griffith, Janice & Pat Pringle and the late Susan Griffith. Fondly remembered by David & Carolina Weir, Patti Weir, Gillian & Graeme Forrest and his many friends. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 7 - 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday. Masonic Memorial Service in the funeral home, Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. Funeral Service, Trinity United Church, 50 Laidlaw Street North, Cannington, Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with visitation in the church from 1:00 p.m. Interment, Cooke's Cemetery, Pefferlaw. Memorial donations to Ontario Shores, Centre for Mental Health Sciences, Youth Initiatives, 700 Gordon Street, Whitby, ON, L1N 5S9 would be appreciated by the family.
