Elizabeth Anne Robertson

Elizabeth Anne Robertson, fondly known as Anne, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, at Southlake Hospital after a long and courageous battle. Born on October 25, 1949, in Meaford, Ontario, she dedicated her life to serving others through her career as an Operating Room Nurse, contributing her skills to healthcare facilities in British Columbia, San Francisco, and the Toronto General Hospital as well as the Orthopedic and Arthritic Hospital.

Anne was admired for her unwavering commitment to her profession. With a love for the fast pace of work, she found fulfillment in providing care during some of society's most critical moments. Her colleagues remember her not only for her professional excellence but also for her quiet strength, generosity, and the loving spirit with which she approached both her work and family life. Always watchful for her family, she nurtured those bonds with kindness and diligent support.

Outside of her work, Anne found joy in simpler pleasures. She cherished her time spent outdoors, especially in her garden and watching birds, activities that reflected her appreciation for nature and tranquility. These hobbies allowed her to connect with the world around her in a personal and fulfilling way.

Anne is survived by her beloved sister, Mary Lynn (Scott Conway) Robertson, along with a host of cousins and extended family members who will miss her deeply. She is preceded in death by her brother, John Edward “Ted” Robertson, her father, Howard Douglas Robertson, and her mother, Margaret Joan “Peggy” Robertson.

Visitation for Elizabeth Anne Robertson will take place on April 23, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, located at 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Ontario.

Anne's memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her, as they remember her warmth, dedication, and the love she shared throughout her life. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association in her memory.
