Glen Allan (36 year Member of the Royal Canadian Legion and employee of Giant Tiger, Sutton)



Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Center, Newmarket, on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the age of 55 years, Glen ended his courageous battle with cancer. Loving companion of 11 years to Chris Paterson, friend to Shawn, Andrew and David. Grandpa Glen to Kyle, Zack, Kaylan, Jordan, Jamee and Lily. Predeceased by his parents Bruce and Eleanor. Survived by his sisters Kim and Leslie and their families. Glen will be missed by the Leach, Paterson and Rank families, his extended families, fellow employees and many friends. A heartfelt thanks go out to all the staff of the 6th floor Cancer Care Ward at Southlake Regional Health Center. Glen's cremated remains will be laid to rest with his parents in the Aurora Cemetery. A celebration of Glen's life will take place in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 356, Sutton on Saturday July 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations to Southlake Regional Health Center Cancer Care 6th floor would be appreciated by the family.
