Peacefully with his family at his side at his daughter's home on Monday, August 30, 2010 at the age of 75 years. Harry Crittenden of Haliburton, formerly of Jackson's Point, beloved Husband of Joan (nee Maguire). Loving Father of Susan Cockburn and her husband Ian of Willow Beach and Robert Crittenden and his wife Debbie of Midland and Stepfather of Lynda Jones (Dale), Paul Noyce, Sharron Brodie (Clay), Wendy Stentaford (Gerry) and David Noyce. Loving and proud Grampa of Mike, Kelly; Cheryl, Shawna, Robin; Stevie, Nathan, Aaron; Melissa; James; Angie, Ian; Paul and Mike and Great Grampa of 14. Dear Brother of Ruth Mitchell and Joe Crittenden and Brother in Law of Merle Mitchell (Art). Predeceased by his brothers, Jim and Tom. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends as "Uncle Harry". Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Legion Service in the funeral home, Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel, Friday at 1:30 p.m. with visitation from 12:30 - 1:15 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment of Cremated Remains, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Memorial donations to the Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family.
