James Daniel Strom

James, known as Jamie to family, died on November 23, 2016 in Toronto Western Hospital from lung cancer treatment complications, with his sister and family friend by his side. He was 63 years old, the youngest of three siblings. Jamie was predeceased by his older brother Peter Strom (1962), his father Andrew Strom (1998), and his great nephew Akayan Strom (2011). Jamie is survived by his mother Bertha Harvey (Ontario), his sister Millie Strom (Vancouver, BC), his aunt Mildred (Arizona), and his aunt Betty (Ontario). The family extends thanks to family friend Barb Harwood, and to the staff of Elm Grove Living Centre, Jamie's home for more than a decade. Cremation has taken place. Jamie's remains will be buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.
