It is with great sadness that the family of Jay Howes announce his sudden passing on Wednesday February 21st, 2024, at the age of 51.

Jay was predeceased by his hero, his father Barney Howes.

Jay will be lovingly remembered by his sons Colton and Dalton; his "ma" Lorraine Barber-Howes; sisters Melissa Casselman(Shamus) and Stephanie Howes(Melanie) Best Friend (Brother) Ryan Toole (Shawna) nephews Austin, Bailey and Boston; great nephew Fenyx, Robbie and Thorin; nieces Elissa, Isla, Jordynn, Oceanna and Hailey; great niece Amora. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Also, remembered by his stepson TJ and his former companion Carrie Clearwater.

Jay was a proud Kinsmen for 30 years, becoming the first president of the Kinsmen club of Georgina in 2016. Jay's love for his family and friends could only be rivalled by his love for fishing and sports.

A quick wit with a kind heart, always a helping hand.
