Peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital Palliative Care, Toronto, on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, in her 88th year. Jean Steinhoff, beloved wife of the late Tom Comer. Loving mother of Joseph Lumley (Diane Burnett), Peter Daniels, and Douglas Steinhoff. Predeceased by her son Donald Steinhoff, her sister Gertie Sproule and brothers Bill Thompson and Albert Thompson. Jean was a long-time resident of Jackson's Point, and resided at the Meaghan House Retirement Residence in Toronto for the past four and a half years. Funeral service in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Friday, July 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation in the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. Interment, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton.
