Peacefully in Sutton, on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at the age of 81 years. John Lyons beloved friend of June Doherty. Predeceased by his wife Jackie (nee McGregor). Dear father of David Lyons and the late Helen Bilyj and stepfather of George Ellis, Ken Ellis, Dan Ellis, Mary Avery and the late Wayne Ellis. Father in law of Peter Bilyj, Dorothy Ellis, Betty Kingsland, Steve Ward and Susan Wood. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear brother of Warren and his wife Ann. Predeceased by his siblings Margaret Reynolds, Phyllis Conguergood, Kathleen Findlay, Alan, Irwin (Hughie) and Elinor Lyons. A Memorial Visitation will be held in the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton from 7:00 - 9:00 pm Friday, December 11th . Memorial Service in the chapel, Saturday, December 12th at 11:00 a.m. Interment of cremated remains, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Memorial donations to Hospice Georgina, P.O. Box 721, Sutton, ON L0E 1R0 would be appreciated by the family.
