Ward, John David (Johnny)

Peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, on Wednesday May 4, 2022 at the age of 64 years. Beloved by his mother Rita Howell, sons Devin and Brandin Ward, sisters Sherry Lynne, Jill Gwendolyn and Bathsheba (Beth) Ward, and brother Clarence Ward. Predeceased by his father John (Jack) Ward. Fondly remembered by nieces Holly (Newman-Booth), Grace and Rachel Ward, and extended family and friends. John was a lifelong sports fanatic, a passionate gardener and a friend to all, a trait inherited from his Newfoundland grandfather. Graveside Interment to be held at Briar Hill Cemetery, 5500 Black River Road, Sutton, Saturday May 28, 2022 at 12:00 noon followed by an informal celebration of life.
