Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the age of 53 years. John Whalley beloved son of John Henry (Jack) Whalley of Pefferlaw and the late Barbara. Lovingly remembered by his daughter, Tiegan Whalley and her mother Shawna of Guelph. Dear brother of Jacqueline Myshrall (Dave) of Bracebridge, Georgina Johnston (Lloyd) of Oshawa, Mark Whalley (Pattie) of Brampton, and Tracey Quick (Robert) of Barrie. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, many friends and especially Kathy Kinnear, his long time best friend from Hamilton. The family extends their thanks to the medical staff of Southlake Regional Health Centre for the care and treatment John received. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment of cremated remains, Cooke's Cemetery, Pefferlaw. Memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
