Stephens, Joseph Charles (WWII Veteran)

Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Friday, February 24th, 2012 at the age of 85 years. Joe Stephens beloved husband of the late Doreen Stephens (nee Hicks). Dear father of James (Jean) of Port Bolster, Gordon (Kelly) of Sutton, Roger (Lynn) of Port Elgin, and Rusty (Alexis) of Egypt. Predeceased by his daughter Denise. Lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Dear brother of Jean Egan of Youngsville, NY and brother-in-law of Joy Ahrens of England. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Veteran Service in the funeral home Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel, Monday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
