Drummond, Judith Marilyn
It is with sadness we share the passing of Judy Drummond, loving mother of Tiffany Drummond and her husband Fred Friese. Proud grandmother or Eric Friese and Sabina Friese. Predeceased by the love of her life, Barry Hollins, in November 2000.
Mom was a kind and generous woman, who was always the biggest fan of the underdog. She believed in helping people up, always being present for family, and giving what you can, when you can whatever it was taking in a rescue dog or cat or donating to charities and community events. Mom especially enjoyed being a secret Santa to seniors and single parents, carefully selecting recipients whose profile mirrored her struggles and strengths.
Mom was an avid gardener, growing beautiful flowers and an abundance of vegetables. She loved to entertain with meals. Mom was an excellent cook and baker and would happily share her bounty with any and all.
Mom enjoyed her walks into town, strolling High Street shops in search of trinkets and clothes, stopping at Black River Coffee for a coffee and treat, talking to her friend Elaine and others about local gossip.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the OSPCA would be appreciated, or plant a tree, build a garden, donate your time to a local charity, Give Back and plant a seed where there is need.
To my beautiful Mom: Thank you for my life, your love, your unwavering support, your years of friendship. Thank you for my sisters, for showing me the meaning of family, for always being my biggest and best fan.
As you rise to heaven
And are called back home
Your spirit lingers
So we are not alone
Your love surrounds us
Like a blanket so warm
Bringing peace and comfort
And we know you’re not gone
We love you Mom, And miss you so much
