Zurek, Kathleen Theresa (nee Smyth)

Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Friday, March 18th, 2011. Kathleen Zurek (nee Smyth), born Belfast, Ireland, June 1, 1926, loving wife of the late Joe (Julius) Zurek (2003). Proud mother of Mark and Michelle. Kathleen is survived by her sister Sheila and brother Bernard and predeceased by her brothers James, Jack and Frank. Kathleen's accomplishments, too many to mention were all focused on her family. There will be many cherished memories of a warm and loving lady. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 20916 Dalton Road, Sutton on Saturday, March 26th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. The family wishes to thank the community workers and the staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre who blessed our mom with excellent care. Mom will be happy to be with Dad once more. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
