Keli-Kelvin Christopher James Parke, age 72, of Scarborough passed away on March 27, 2024 at Mariposa House Hospice, Orillia in the presence of family. Keli-Kelvin was born on November 6, 1951 to Clive Scott Parke and Margaret Magdeline Castleman Parke in Lachine Quebec.
Keli-Kelvin grew up in a loving home in Richmond Hill. Grew up loving his neighbours: The MacErlain's and the 2 families of Bellevance's. In the summer months, the Mothers and kids would all go camping at Sibbald Point Provincial Park. This was a joyful time in Keli-Kelvin's life.
Keli-Kelvin graduated from Richmond Hill High School in 1971. Told me tales of the Principal expelling him due to the fact he would not cut his hair. (Beatles Era). Enjoyed Basketball up into his 40's, Enjoyed Political debates and discussing world events with anyone. Keli-Kelvin worked as a Gas Meter Reader for the past 50 years Keli-Kelvin loved working this field as he could interact with so many people, and enjoyed strong and lasting friendships with a company that treated him like family.

In 1977 Keli-Kelvin met Francine Williams through an Ad in The Toronto Sun , - Room for rent. Upon moving in together, they got to know each other and their love grew. In 1985 they were married on the beach at Grand Bend, Ontario and spent their Honeymoon camping at The Pinery.
Keli-Kelvin enjoyed watching Hockey games, reading the classics, political history and loved Scuba diving. Went to Hell, Grand Cayman's in 1987 and scuba dived with his friends. Keli-Kelvin cherished that trip and spoke of their experiences at length with laughter and nostalgia.
The following years were filled with the joy of raising three children: Christoper Kelvin (1985); Lynne Francess Bronwyn (1988), and Lauren Margaret Emma (1991). His children gave Keli-Kelvin strength during the rough times and laughter and joy were abundant in his relationships with them. Keli-Kelvin was so proud of his kids, family, and friends. They will hold dear the stories we will be privileged to tell one day of their funny, loving father.
In 2016 Keli-Kelvin uncovered her true two-spirit and became a trans-gender female. Finally addressing the Woman inside. The last decade of her life, Keli-Kelvin was addressed as her/she. Keli-Kelvin enjoyed all the female trappings – Wigs, Clothes, Make-up.
Thanks to her friends and family she never felt alone.
She had a knack of making friends easily and making all friends feel like her best friend.
Keli-Kelvin was proceeded in death by her Parents: Clive Scott and Margaret Castleman.
Waiting for Keli-Kelvin at the door to Heaven was her sisters, Pamela and Debbie.
May we get to meet again in the next life with laughter and love. you will be missed by so very many.
