It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Linda Douglas (nee Sauder) on Saturday, November 26, 2022. After enjoying the morning sunrise with her family, she peacefully passed away surrounded by her adoring three daughters. Beloved wife and best friend for 52 years to the late Keith Douglas. Greatly loved by her daughters, Jennifer and her husband Reid Robson, Jewel and her husband Dan Ortman and Cynthia and her husband Kobi Dorenbush. She was the proud “Ti” of Lochlain, Ella, Chloe, Ayla, Noa and Lev and the best dog Mama to little Bentley. Beloved sister of Lorraine Nolan and her husband Barry and Jim Sauder. Dear sister-in-law of Sharon Gibson and her husband Art, Ivan Douglas and his wife Judy and Robert Douglas and his wife Colleen. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends near and afar. Linda adored her family. She was a truly kind, generous, and thoughtful person. You never left her house hungry and always went home with a bag of treats. She was an amazing cook. She found great happiness in her garden which was a work of art. She spent countless hours at Heart House Nursery School with her students who she loved dearly. Her bright smile and beautiful laugh will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton. Thank you to the team at Baycrest that supported Linda. Memorial donations can be made to the Baycrest Foundation directed to Brain Health Research.
