Kostin, Margaret Eva (nee Bullough)
Peacefully on September 21, 2013 at River Glen Nursing Home in Sutton ON, Margaret went to be with her Lord and Saviour. She was predeceased by her husband Henry, her infant son Donnie and siblings Alf and Gladys. She is survived by her sister Flo and many nieces and nephews whom she loved as if they were her own children. Marg was born in Toronto to Phil and Dolly Bullough September 17, 1921. She attended Givins St. Public and Commercial School where she represented them at the C.N.E in both straight dash and relay races winning many medals and cups over the years. Her victories must have been due to often challenging her brother to races down Fennings Street! She played softball at Sunnyside Stadium for 12 years as catcher on the Lakeshore Ladies, Tip Top Tailors and Community House teams. Marg was employed for almost 50 years by W. J. Gage & Co. in the envelope division where she made many lifelong friends. After retiring to Keswick, Marg joined the Alley Cats exercise club. When she wasn't playing sports or watching them she perfected her famous Macaroni and Cheese that all her nieces and nephews still rave about. Marg was a true inspiration of what it means to be a good person even though life threw her more than her fair share of hardships. She never said an unkind word to or about anyone. She took the time to seek out and comfort those who were hurting or less fortunate. Her life was a testimony to her faith. She was raised in the Salvation Army, sang in the Songsters and taught Sunday School for many years. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. The family wishes to thank Bill Wells and so many others for their faithful visits and River Glen Nursing Home staff for their care over the past few years. At Marg's request a private graveside service has been held at Prospect Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton, (905)-722-3274
Good Bye my family and friends; my life is past
I loved you all to the very last
Weep not for me; But courage take
Love each other, for my sake
For those you love don't pass away
They walk beside you every day.
