With heavy hearts we share the sudden passing of Mark Kiteley on November 22nd 2024 at the young age of 66. Spouse, father, grandfather, brother, brother in law, and uncle.
Mark, often known as “Kite”, was an exceptional marine mechanic with an infectious laugh and unforgettable humour. His career spanned over 4 decades, beginning in Island Grove, Crates in Keswick and Lagoon city and finally The Everglades Marina in Pefferlaw. His expertise was second to none. He loved his work and he took great pride in every single project. There was nothing he couldn’t fix. He also loved to ‘putter’ around his home and yard and very rarely sat down. His gears were always turning, quietly planning the next project. He was happiest when something needed fixed. He looked forward to teaching his grandsons how to fix things.
He will be missed for a lifetime by his spouse of 38 years Annette Schulz, their children Amy (Jason), Andy, and Ivy and the family dog Thunder. His grandchildren Lawson, Rhodes, and Gaines. His sister Janet and Niece Sarah (Jeremy), Sister and brother in law Kristine and Doug Gambell, Niece and Nephew Ryan and Kristen, his extended family, close friends and work mates who grew to feel like family through the years.
