Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the age of 83 years while surrounded by family. Marlene Whitney, loving mother of Michael Davidson, Carolyn Davidson, Jill Davidson and her husband Dave and John Davidson and his wife Carrie Anne and Stepmother of Michael Whitney, Bruce Whitney and his wife Alison, and Glenn Whitney and his wife Jacqui. Loving Gramma of Emma (Graham), Matthew, Carley, Mackenzie (Jake), Isaac, Kayla (Cole), Ada, Ethan, Renee, Trevor, Lauren, Andrew and Georgina. Great Grammy to Kenna, Mason and Carter. Dear sister of Shirley and her husband Jim Stiles and Carol and her husband Don Norris. Predeceased by her husband the late Rev. Phillip Whitney and her first husband the late George Davidson. Fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Marlene was proud to have graduated from Toronto General Hospital as a Registered Nurse in 1961. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023. Funeral Service in St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Leaskdale Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. with visitation in the church from 11:00 a.m. Interment, Queensville Cemetery.
