Peacefully in Ottawa on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the age of 95 years. Patrick Doherty, beloved husband of Cassie (nee Moriarity) of Jackson's Point. Patrick was born in Donegal, Ireland. Predeceased by all his siblings. Lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews in Canada and England and cousins in England and Ireland. Patrick immigrated to Canada in 1947 and was educated partly in England and Canada. He received his Master's Degree from Niagara University and graduated from St. Augustine Seminary in 1955. He served for fourteen years as a priest in Toronto Archdiocese. He married Cassie in 1971 at St. Joan of Arc Parish, Toronto. He served as an elected Trustee of Toronto Separate School Board for eight years and retired as The Director of The Georgina Family Life Centre in 1985. Memorial Visitation in the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017.
