Peacefully, at York Central Hospital, Richmond Hill on Monday, September 14, 2009. Ray Burrows, of Jackson's Point dearly loved husband for 61 years of the late Joyce Burrows (nee Gay). Beloved father of Robert Bruce (the late Judy Burrows), Alison Gay (David Brain), John Ray (Alice) and David Gerald (Susan). Loving grandfather of Jeramie Hilliard; Jamie, Alyssa and Matthew Burrows (Glorygene) and Edward Brain and Great grandfather of Sage Burrows. Ray will be missed by many nieces and nephews and members of the Georgina Corp. of the Salvation Army. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Funeral Service in the Salvation Army, Georgina Community Church, 1816 Metro Road, Jackson's Point, Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto, Monday, at 11:00 a.m. Memorial Donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
