Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, with his wife and daughters by his side. Richard Coombes, beloved husband of Sandra of Willow Beach. Dear father of Jennifer (Johnny Leonard) and Julia. Devoted loving Grandad of Corgan, Kyle, Carter, Brynlee and Harper. Dear brother of Angela Coombes (Dona) and brother in law of Dave Ryan and Bert Bural. Predeceased by his sister Darlene Ryan and Trish Bural. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews Rodney (Debbie) Ryan, Karen Ryan (Bill Morgan), Carl (Monica) Ryan, Ed Ryan (Melissa), Tom (Wendy) Lottridge and Charmayne and her family and their families. Remembered by his aunts and uncles; Carol Camp, Melvin (Betty) Goss, Irene Owen, Raymond (Helen) Goss and Edna Coombes and his many cousins. Richard was an avid curler and will be remembered by his friends at the Sutton Curling Club. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Service in the Chapel Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial Donations to the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation Cancer Care would be appreciated by the family.
