McCabe, Rita (nee Valters)

Passed away suddenly but peacefully on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in Orlando, Florida in her 63rd year. She is survived by her husband Brian McCabe of Sunderland. She will be remembered by her children Wendy (Jason), Brian (Ashlyn) and Jennifer (Cody) and four grandchildren (Luke, Nathan, Kennedy and Rachel). Sister to Erika and Harry. Aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She will be missed by family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28th from 2 – 8pm and Tuesday, March 29th from 2 – 8pm at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 28118 Highway 48, Virginia, Ontario on Wednesday March, 30th at 1:00 pm followed by interment at St. Anthony's Catholic Church Cemetery. Donations in memory of Rita can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Mesothelioma Research Fund at Princess Margaret Hospital.
