Thelma Lawrence

Peacefully after a short illness at Southlake Regional Health Center, Newmarket, on Tuesday August 19, 2008 in her 98th year. Frances Lawrence (nee Powell) of Sutton formerly of Markham, beloved wife of the late Noel Lawrence (1990). Cherished Mother of Jack Lawrence and Judy and her husband John Bennett. Very special Nana of Andy (Antonietta), Todd (Sue), Tim, Karyn (Brady) and Richard. Loving Grand - Nan of Monica, Kenneth and Julia. Dear Sister of Gordon Greig and his wife Alice, and the late Lloyd Greig, and aunt of John (Lilianne), Bill (Sue), Ed (Kelly) and Ken (Brunella) and their families. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Family Service in the chapel, Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment of cremated remains Elmwood Cemetery, Markham. Memorial donations to Knox United Church P.O. Box 989, Sutton, L0E 1R0 would be appreciated by the family. Mom's last years were greatly enhanced by the care and kindness of Dr. Tung and the wonderful staff of River Glen Haven Nursing Home in Sutton.
