Peacefully at the Elden of Bradford, on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at the age of 97 years. John Longmore of Sutton, beloved husband of Enid (nee Greer). Dear father of Myrna Mercer (the late John), Mervyn Longmore (Jane), Ian Longmore (Doris), and Patricia Ritchie (Rik). Loving Pa of Patricia, Shaun, Kelly (James), Brent (Kadee), and great pa of Kenna, Ian, and Kelham. Brother of Robert Longmore and Betty Long. Fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends. John was a long-time employee of Ontario Hydro. He loved his gardens and grew the best tomatoes. Friends and neighbours, dropping by were the highlight of his day. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Friday, July 7, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. with visitation from 12:30 p.m. Inurnment, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton.
