Jewellery

We have a selection of different jewellery to remember your loved one. A loved one's fingerprint can be captured and etched onto a keepsake jewellery piece. Part of a loved one's ashes can be placed in a specially selected pendant. This jewellery piece, which you create, can remain as a constant reminder of the bond you share with your loved one, creating a legacy for generations to come.

We have a sampling of some of the many options that are available for keepsake jewellery. If you would like to make a purchase, or have questions about other jewellery that we have available, please contact us, or call us at 905-722-3274.

Monuments

Forrest and Taylor have been associated with Shelburne Memorials since 1997. We have found the quality of their workmanship to be outstanding. As Memorials require very specialized craftsmanship we have provided some basic information and examples but we invite you to visit the Shelburne Memorials Website for more detailed information.

Portraits in Oil

Gary McLaughlin is a Canadian artist we are excited to work with. He has ties to the local community, having grown up in the Georgina area. He sees his oil paintings as a unique and special way of remembering a loved one for many generations to come. Using photographs provided for by a family, Gary will complete a size-as sketch for approval. With approval of the sketch, he will complete the portrait for the family. His paintings are done in oil on stretched canvas that will last for generations and become family heirlooms. Prints can be done on 80lb stock matt or gloss paper. For more information, please contact us.

"Gary McLaughlin graduated from the Ontario College of Art (Toronto), and became an Associate of the college in 1978. Since then he has worked full-time at his craft, honing his dynamic style of painting people for Canadian and International buyers.

As a commercial illustrator, his clients included, in part, the CBC, Maple Leaf Gardens, Bobby and Brett Hull, Molson Coors, Tim Horton's, Coca Cola, Sony Inc., and Harlequin Publishing.

His years of painting Harlequin Romance book covers catapulted McLaughlin to the top of the list of Canadian portrait artists. Now, his painterly technique and true rendering of the human face is available for families that wish to remember loved ones in the full bloom of their lives."
