Dear Dana, Dunkirk Avenue will truly miss Kathleen's presence on her front porch all Spring, Summer and Fall. Kathleen was a wonderful, fun-filled, insightful and humorous neighbour. She felt the burdens of others around her and reached out. She loved all of her and our pets. She adored Lucy with all her heart. And loved that she had her beautiful, white, fluffy cat to fill that big void. We know you are grieving your great loss of your Mother. Grieving is different for everyone. You didn't know your Mother as we did here on Dunkirk - to us, she was a Hummingbird with a free-floating spirit. We are happy for Kathleen that she lived "her way". Fly high, Kathleen. Sincerely, Jane Hunter 83 Dunkirk Avenue (the empty boxes contribution)
